OPERATIONS, COMMUNICATIONS AND FINANCE COORDINATOR

Wesley Castle Hill Uniting Church is seeking a people-focused and highly organised Operations, Communications and Finance Coordinator to play a central role in the day-to-day life of our church community.

This is a hands-on, varied role combining administration, communications, finance support and facilities coordination in a supportive, values-driven and welcoming environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Minister, you will:

  • Provide general administrative support and act as the first point of contact for enquiries

  • Support worship services, volunteer coordination and church activities

  • Create and manage communications (newsletters, website, email, notices, digital signage)

  • Coordinate church facilities, including bookings and casual hires

  • Manage hire agreements, invoicing and follow-up

  • Support day-to-day finance administration and bookkeeping

This is a full-time, on-site role. Remuneration is based on qualifications and experience.
Appointment is subject to satisfactory background and police checks.

About You

You will bring:

  • Strong administration and organisational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • A warm, approachable manner and confidence working with diverse people

  • Strong digital skills and willingness to learn new systems

  • Experience in bookkeeping or financial administration

  • Comfort working with volunteers in a community-based environment

  • Integrity, discretion and sound judgement
